140 Year Anniversary Gala Dinner
Friday 31 July at Waterview In Bicentennial Park, 6:30pm
2026 is a very special year for Canterbury Bankstown FC.
As one of Sydney’s earliest football clubs, our club has proudly played a pivotal role in community football since 1886.
Generations of families, migrants and young dreamers have worn the colours, each adding their own chapter to a story that stretches across suburbs and eras.
With its Hellenic roots, the club began in the early days of organised football, through to the rise of the State League and the National Soccer League. Through these times, the club has stood as a constant – a place where talent was discovered, where communities gathered and where the game grew.
Coaches, volunteers and supporters carried the club through wars, rebrands and relocations, whilst always returning to the same core idea: football belongs to the community.
This year we celebrate 140 years of continuous dedication towards our great club, its players, its coaches, volunteers and the wider community.
Please join us to celebrate this significant milestone at our 140 Year Anniversary Gala Dinner, to be held on Friday 31 July 2026, 6:30pm at Waterview In Bicentennial Park.
This event will bring together past and present players, coaches, volunteers and supporters to reconnect, share memories and stories and look towards the future ahead.
Be part of the club’s history with your presence at our Gala Dinner to continue Canterbury Bankstown FC’s story and legacy.
We look forward to seeing you there!
